The Storm has been developed from Big Dog’s Force and Flux models and designed
for paddlers looking to learn and progress their paddling with confidence. By basing
the Storm on these well-respected models Big Dog has created a kayak that will
keep pace with the paddlers progress. As they develop, paddlers will get more and
more from the design.
The Storm was created with developing paddlers skills in mind, and many centres of
learning were consulted during the whole design process . The Storms slightly
longer waterline improves tracking and speed, whilst the semi-planning hull helps
retain good stability on the flat and improves manoeuvrability and gives predictable
performance in white water. The Storm is easy to paddle and opens up a whole
new level of kayaking for the majority of paddlers
