Thursday 31st July 08 to be precise, myself and Sparky McCabe got a rare summer run on the Source of the Liffey at one pipe.
While this may seem like just a ditch to some people, this is indeed a magnificient river. I had been hoping to get a run on it for ages and am glad to say that the guidebook just doesn't do it justice.
